The Shopping Complex utilizes a 'Flow' concept to optimize customer navigation, featuring a structural space frame and a double-skin facade with ventilated cavities to combat Ahmedabad's dry heat. The Library stands as a counterpoint, designed through a subtractive geometric evolution of square forms.

The design process involved a rigorous study of the vernacular architecture, reinterpreting traditional cooling methods for a modern context. Every line drawn was an attempt to capture the ephemeral quality of light and the solidity of the earth.
